The LFSBuilder tool is a work in progress with lot of pending improvements and features. Some of them are:

• Properly manage errors using exceptions.
• Fix issues downloading source code tarballs for BLFS.
• Refactor tool.py into a Python package.
• Publish the tool package on pypi.org.
• Implement a logger class.
• Implement a timer class.
• Include builders and recipes for desktop environments.
• Improve documentation.
• More unit tests.
• Manage components dependencies.
